POLICE were called to Bury General Hospital's accident and emergency department because of a man's bizarre behaviour, the town's magistrates were told. Officers found the 31-year-old in the toilet with all the taps turned on.
Mark Humphries, prosecuting, said Neil Simms, of Victoria Street, Radcliffe, was "agitated and shaking uncontrollably". Police concluded that he was under the influence of something. Simms, who admitted a breach of the peace, was bound over to keep the peace for 12 months.
