MAGISTRATES ran out of options when a Radcliffe man, facing charges of assault and witness intimidation, breached bail for the third time by entering Rochdale and contacting the main witness in the allegations.
Wayne Englebert, 23, of Cross Lane, Radcliffe, admitted the breach offence, and was remanded in custody pending a pre-trial review in respect of the original charges.
Englebert had denied charges of assaulting his former partner Vanessa Gormley, and interfering with the course of justice. At first he was bailed to his home address, then to a bail hostel at Oldham, and then to a bail hostel at Chorlton.
With the latest breach of bail the patience of the magistrates at Rochdale ran out and he was remanded in custody.
