BBEN -- the Bolton Business Environment Network -- has been relaunched as a not-for-profit, limited liability company.
The organisation, which is based at Bolton Enterprise Centre in Washington Street, provides environmental and health & safety support services to Bolton businesses.
A change in status means it is no longer a division of Bolton-based EEF (Engineering Employers' Federation) Lancashire. BBEN is now owned by its existing and future members.
The Board is made up of representatives from three member companies, Bolton and Bury Chamber, EEF Lancashire, Groundwork and the Environment Agency.
Its advisers are from Bolton Council and Bolton Institute.
BBEN currently has three members of staff -- Anne Cletheroe, Marion Griffin, Office Manager/Company Secretary and Andrew Murray, Senior Environmental Adviser.
