THE chance to dance comes to The Lowry this summer with a holiday school that will resound with the rhythm of Africa.
Bami Jo -- meaning Come Dance With Me -- is a series of workshops at the Manchester entertainment complex in African dance that will be run at the arts centre between Friday August 3 and Sunday August 5.
It offers an outstanding line-up of international artists and tutors in African and Caribbean music and dance from the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Cuba, Jamaica and Europe.
Children between eight and 11 years-old are invited to take part in sessions on Friday August 3 while 12 year-olds to adults will be welcomed on the remaining two days.
