KEARSLEY rediscovered their winning form with a little help from pro Fasel Akber.
He skittled Egerton for 77 taking seven wickets for 38 off only 15 overs. Earlier he had lifted the innings with a late charge of 24 not out after Steve Davies top scored with 33.
Egerton deputy pro Farukh picked up four wickets and was also top scorer for his side, 30, before being hit on the thumb by a ball from Darron Foy.
Tonge kept up the pressure on the leaders with an eight wicket win over Astley Bridge - their fifth win on the run.
Pro Nisar scored his first century for the club hitting 108 not out while Nigel Hallows added 44 in a score of 173-2. That overtook Bridge's 169-6, pro Dheeraj Jadhav 55 and Sajid Mahmood 23 not out off nine balls.
Heaton picked up their second win of the season beating Eagley by four wickets.
The result was mainly due to the efforts of pro Hirwani, who took 7-53 to bowl out Eagley for 135 before hitting 38 not out. That took Heaton to a winning total of 138-6, James Holt top scoring with 44 and Mark Mort 37.
Farnworth were not so fortunate. They went down by four wickets at Greenmount, despite Steve Woods hitting 72 in a total of 168-9.
Mark Stewart took 5-69 for Greenmount before Bobby Horrocks 37 not out and Mark Fallon 32 steered them to the win at 169-6.
