The 'Tea and Toast with Storysacks' sessions need people who can sew, knit, 'colour in', make games, or simply 'brew up', to make the sacks, which encourage a love of reading and motivate the children to read with their families. Anyone interested should ring Sue or Val at the Family Learning Centre on 01204 332410.
IF you are recently bereaved and would like to talk to someone in the same situation as yourself, who knows just how you feel, St Matthew's Church, Little Lever, holds a weekly meeting in Church House, on Wednesday mornings, 10am to 12 noon, serving coffee and biscuits. Whether or not you attend church does not matter. If you would like more information, or maybe someone to accompany you, phone 01204 791999.
