ACTOR Stephen Stubbs makes his directorial debut in Farnworth Little Theatre's September production of Cash on Delivery.
Stephen has been a member of Farnworth and Bolton Little Theatres for more than seven years and has appeared in numerous productions at both venues.
And he says he is really enjoying his first time in the director's chair: "It is something I have always wanted to do but have been too busy acting.
"It is so rewarding to plan a production in your mind and then see it come to life on stage."
Stephen describes the play as riotous in the best traditions of farce. He said: "It is almost impossible to describe the plot. It just rattles along like a rebellious washing machine."
The production opens on Saturday, September 8 and runs from Monday to Saturday the following week.
Cash on Delivery is followed in Farnworth by Veronica's Room from November 10 to 17, Mr Macaroni and the Exploding Pizza Pie from January 26 to February 2, A Man for all Seasons from March 30 to April 6, and Arsenic and Old Lace from June 1 to 8.
