LEICESTER City boss Peter Taylor is confident that Muzzy Izzet will be fit for the opening Premiership game with Wanderers.
Izzet is currently battling to overcome a thigh strain and may not be risked in tomorrow friendly with Fiorentina at Filbert Street.
Taylor said: "With the Bolton game just over a week away, we are taking no risks. We might let Muzzy sit out tomorrow's game."
"Muzzy will definitely be fit for the first game of the campaign so why take a needless chance in a friendly match."
Taylor's trio of summer signings - Dennis Wise, Ian Walker and James Scowcroft - will be in action against the Italians, who are managed by Roberto Mancini.
Mancini had a short spell with City during the second half of last season before returning to Italy to take his first steps up the managerial ladder.
Taylor said: "They will be a good test for us. They have a lot of top quality players and I know our lads are relishing playing against them.
"It will be good to see Roberto again. Although he was only here a short time, he had an influence with some of the things he did and was very popular with the squad."
Meanwhile, injury-plagued midfielder Darren Eadie, will see a specialist tomorrow to check on the extent of his knee problem.
