HINDSFORD pulled off one of the biggest shocks in the Goldline Trophy as they defeated Atherton LR last night.
Hindsford took an early lead through Chris Jolleyand once Mark Redmond volleyed the second, LR were rocking. Jason Holroyd replied, but Hindsford fsecured victory through Stuart Lomax.
Fold performed well to snatch three points at Rivington last night in a 4-1 win. Keith Ingham, a Steve Bray (2) and Steve Dearden scored for Fold with Chris Walker replying.
Tonight sees a continuation of Goldline action, although not at Tempest United, whose game with Brightmet was postponed. Elsewhere, Atherton Town visit Old Boltonians and Golborne Sports meet Dobbies Veterans whilst Pennington and Blackrod also clash. All evening matches commence at 6:30pm. Friday sees a break in the Goldline action, with fixtures continuing on Saturday afternoon.
