Westhoughton'S game with Heaton featured two in-form professionals, South African Brad White and Indian leg spinner Hirwani.
The match was rain affected throughout but that failed to hide the talents of either player.
White scored another unbeaten century, hitting 106 not out in a controlled innings that contained five sixes and ten fours and that proved crucial for Westhoughton as the rest of the batsmen struggled against the spin of Hirwani.
While White cut loose at one end the spinner tied up the other batsmen taking eight wickets for 84 restricting Westhoughton to 191-9.
Heaton's reply was curtailed by bad light and rain with nine overs still to play. By then Heaton had struggled to 109-7, Mark Mort top scoring with 25 while Mike Crookson collected 4-55.
Farnworth were washed out even earlier in their game against Bradshaw as they could only total 48-3 before the umpires brought the players off. All three wickets fell to Bradshaw pro, who finished with 3-21.
