THE NSPCC has advised Bolton parents to watch over their children while they are surfing the Internet.
Parents are advised to place their computer where the whole family can use it and surf together. Children are warned never to release their personal details. All software should be filtered.
The amount of time children spend online should also be limited.
An NSPCC spokesman said: "Make sure your children are as cautious of strangers online as they would be in the outside world."
