RYAN Giggs' neighbours are worried that a new housing development near the footballer's mansion could cause traffic problems.
Residents on Pincroft Lane, on the border of Blackrod and Adlington, are concerned that the building of 19 detached homes and garages behind their properties could lead to accidents on the busy A6.
Bolton Council has received 13 letters from families who have objected to the planning application from Wigan-based Ansar Homes.
Councillors at a meeting of Blackrod Town Council also said they had concerns about the proposed development, when details of the application were revealed this week.
Bolton Council has recommended consent is granted, subject to a highways report.
