WHEN car driver David Godsell was stopped by police as he drove along Manchester Road, Bury, they found he had no insurance, MOT or licence. Godsell, aged 20, of Withycombe Place, Salford, claimed he was just trying to help his sister, who had called him after running out of petrol, Bury magistrates were told. He was convicted of the offences, was disqualified from driving for 90 days, fined £165 and ordered to pay £35 costs.
