LANCASHIRE were at Lords today - but with their C&G Trophy hopes shattered by Shahid Afridi.
The Pakistani staged a one-man demolition of the Red Rose bowling at Grace Road yesterday to send Lancashire to London for National League Division Two game against Middlesex with their season effectively over.
And Lancs' troubles continued today when openers Mark Chilton and Gregg Chapple were dismissed with only nine on the board. They made something of a recovery before lunch and had reached 45 off 13 overs with Andy Flintoff (20) and skipper John Crawley (16) at the wicket.
