THIEVES made off on a motor scooter after stealing a handbag from the passenger seat of a pensioner's car.
The bag snatch happened at noon yesterday at a car park in Cross Street, Radcliffe.
The owner was sat in her car when a teenager ran up to the car, reached in through an open window and grabbed the handbag.
He then jumped on the back of the scooter which was being ridden by an accomplice. Neither were wearing crash helmets.
The first offender is described as a white male, aged about 19, 5ft 7 ins tall, slim, with bleach blonde short hair. He was wearing a grey blue hooded top and jeans.
His partner is also a white male, of similar age, with mousy grey hair. He wore a grey hooded top.
