A HOAX caller conned Radio 1 star Sara Cox into hitting out at colleague Chris Moyles.
North-west DJ Mike Maguire phoned Sara while impersonating popular presenter Terry Wogan.
Wogan had incensed Sara earlier in the week when he said the 26-year-old was "in yer face" in a Sunday Telegraph interview.
Maguire decided to capitalise on the situation by pretending to be Wogan and "apologising" to the Bolton-born celeb live on air.
After the apology was accepted, Maguire said of Moyles: "I think he's a bit of a lout."
Sara replied: "Yeah, he is a bit. He's really weird. I suppose he's a bit of a shock-jock at the station."
In the friendly exchange, Sara accepted "Wogan's" apology and told him she was getting wed on October 6. Sara was about to hang up when Maguire, who presents the 105.4 Century FM Breakfast Show with Tony Horne, came clean and admitted he was playing a joke. She laughed before saying: "That was a very good impression."
