THE first round of the Goldline Trophy, in association with the Bolton Evening News, is now complete after Breightmet United were awarded their Group C tie with Tempest on a technicality.
The quarter-final line-ups have now been decided with Prestwich Heys and Atherton Collieries progressing from Group C and tournament officials will now start to discuss the possible venues for the knockout phase as eight clubs battle it out in an attempt to reach the Reebok Stadium.
Defending champions Charnock Richard will face Eagley from Group A, while Atherton Town meet Hindsford in a game that promises to be very lively. Atherton Collieries also have a game against local opposition when they take on Daisy Hill and Prestwich Heys look to continue their meticulous form when they meet Blackrod Town, who qualified despite a crushing defeat in their opening game. Dates for these fixtures have yet to be decided.
