IT is time to hide behind the sofa again because the Doctor is back.
The Time Lord will be landing in his TARDIS for a weekend of events next month.
And his Bolton fans can can catch up with their hero at the new Doctor Who convention, 'Resurrection', being held at the Moat House Hotel, Stoke-on-Trent, on September 15 and 16.
Guests already confirmed for the event include Colin Baker, who played the sixth Doctor, and Sylvestor McCoy, the seventh.
Nicholas Courtney, famous for his role as the Brigadier, and former companions Nicola Bryant, Sophie Aldred, Caroline John and Deborah Watling will also be there.
And Paul Darrow, better known as Avon from the cult sci-fi show Blake's Seven, will be making a guest appearance during the weekend.
Fans will have the chance to hear these and other guests, including producer, writer and director Barry Letts, talk about their time on the show, have their picture taken with them and get autographs.
There will also be an extensive range of Doctor Who merchandise and a monster exhibition, including the dreaded Daleks and Cybermen.
The weekend has been organised by Vortex Events, an independent group of fans which has organised Doctor who events all overt the UK since 1995.
More than 500 fans of the show --the longest running TV sci-fi series in the world -- are expected to attend from around the world.
