SMALL businesses will be paying their electricity -- and some gas -- bills to a different company as from September 17.

For Norweb Energi who, with Eastern Energi, are owned by American-based TXU Europe, are taking on the name of their parent company.

Bills will, from September, be arriving from TXU Energi instead of Norweb Energi.

Although, in effect, a simple name change, the company will also be launching a massive advertising campaign, plus writing to customers, to emphasise the: "positive changes around TXU Energi."
