PLAYERS shouldn't grumble if they are fined under Wanderers' new Code of Conduct.
Not after Sam Allardyce involved them in laying down the law!
"The gaffer is always willing to get the players involved in deciding how we go forward," Ian Marshall explains.
"It can become a 'them and us' situation if you're not careful but he's bringing everybody together to work as a team."
Allardyce has refused to give details, insisting it is an "in-house" agreement. But, apart from the usual fines for: being late for training, mobiles ringing in the dressing room or frivolous and unnecessary bookings, there is a basic theme running through the dressing room code.
The all-for-one, one-for-all philosophy that puts teamwork and togetherness as the top priorities.
"It's discipline-based," Marshall confirms, "There's a lot of different things but they are all designed to make us all pull together.
"It's a no-blame culture. If things don't go well on the pitch, we're all in it together."
