IT will be green for go at the Reebok tomorrow night when Wanderers fans use their new TeamCard season passes for the first time.
More than 15,000 season ticket holders attending the first home game of the new season will pass through turnstiles where operators will check the validity of the smartcards in specially-installed terminals.
A green light will open the turnstile, red will signify a problem.
"We don't anticipate any problems," Wanderers' commercial director, Gareth Moores, said ahead of the Middlebrough game, "but this is new technology and although the turnstile operators have all been trained, they will be using it for the first time.
"There could be teething problems and admission to the ground might take fractionally longer than usual to begin with but it will soon be quicker and the benefits will be fantastic so we would hope supporters will bear with us."
Wanderers have been encouraged by reports from Crystal Palace, where the TeamCard system had a successful launch on Saturday.
"We have had problems at the ticket office with people unable to get through on the phone lines at peak periods," Mr Moores admitted, "but are working on a solution.
"We have also had a number of people who have not received their TeamCards. Inevitably, having sent out around 15,500 in the post, there will be the odd ones that will go astray but any supporters experiencing problems should not worry. Contact us at the ticket office and we will re-issue the cards and render the originals useless."
