ANIMAL charity Pets in Need has been forced to move its annual garden party because of foot and mouth restrictions.
On MAFF advice the garden party will be held at Greenmount Old School, (opposite the Bull's Head) in Greenmount on Sunday August 12, and not at the sanctuary in Reynards Bank, Turton Road, Tottington.
Organisers hope that although raffle books have already been sold with the old address on them, anyone interested in going along will make a note of the new location.
The sanctuary was unable to hold the event because it is home to so many animals, including sheep, which are at risk from foot and mouth disease.
The garden party runs from 10am.
