PET life received this poem from Tina and Trev Dunn.
The couple's cats, Bubble and Squeak, were featured on our page last year but sadly since then Squeak has died.
Thanks to Mr and Mrs Dunn for sending in the poem.
They will receive a book prize for their contribution to the page.
Any reader's poem, letter or photograph printed will win a prize, so keep them coming in to: Pet life, Features Department, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton. BL1 1DE.
Some months ago, on your pet page,
You featured us and cats,
Who had reached a ripe old age.
Fifteen they were, bundles of joy,
Bubble the girl and Squeak the boy.
They were both our little darlings,
Full of fun.
They curled up together in their bed,
Or in the sun.
Our hearts are now broken as Squeak has died.
We can't stop missing him and each day have cried.
So just to say thank you to our little friend,
For bringing us happiness, we loved you to the end.
