A YOUNGSTER was treated for whiplash injuries after he was involved in a car accident in Great Lever.
The 11-year-old, who was a front seat passenger in a Fiat Brava, was treated at the scene of the accident on Saturday by paramedics and did not require hospital treatment.
The accident happened at the junction of Bridgeman Street and High Street at 4.35pm when the Brava, being driven by Sharon Brickles, of Woodvale Avenue, Great Lever, was involved in a collision with a Skoda Felicia being driven by Matthew Hodgson, of Great Holme, Great Lever.
Three other children travelling in the Brava escaped without injury.
