WATCHING TV can be good for you, according to new research by the British Heart Foundation.
A study of 2,000 people who had watched the "Fighting Fit, Fighting Fat" campaign screened by the BBC two years ago showed that fruit consumption had doubled, snacks were reduced and half of the people had lost weight.
"This is good news in the fight against coronary heart disease," said Dr Vivienne Press, assistant medical director at the British Heart Foundation."
