BOLTON Under 15s have been given a bye in the first round of the English Schools' FA Wizard inter association Trophy.
Bolton usually fare well in the Greater Manchester competitions but they have not got a good record in the prestigious national inter association cup.
Bolton will have to wait until October to start out on their trophy trail when they travel to meet either Chorley or Trafford in the second round.
Bury Under 15s have also been given a bye but they will have a tough test in the second round travelling to meet either mighty Liverpool or Oldham.
The full 2nd Round draw involving associations in the North-west is: Kirkby or Rossendale v Wigan or Chester, Burnley v Sefton, West Lancashire v Blackburn, Liverpool or Oldham v Bury, St Helens v Manchester, Mid Cheshire v Tameside or South Ribble, Salford v Warrington, Preston v Stockport, Chorley or Trafford v Bolton, Wirral v Blackpool.
