A MOTORWAY recovery driver from Halliwell was found over the drink-drive limit by police.
William Hart, aged 59, of Halliwell Road, admitted driving with excess alcohol.
He was fined £150 with £70 costs and banned from the road for a year by Blackpool magistrates.
Suzanne Sanders, prosecuting, said that, at midnight on Friday, July 20, police patrolling Park Road, Blackpool, saw a Rover being driven by Hart going the wrong way down a one-way street.
A breath test confirmed he was over the limit.
Michael Ball, defending, said: "His job was recovering vehicles from motorways and he will now lose that."
