A WOMAN was dragged from her car which landed on its roof after an accident on Crompton Way last night.
Pepi Keagan, aged 40, suffered a broken pelvis following the collision which involved three other vehicles.
Bolton Wanderers supporters travelling home from the Reebok Stadium were delayed as police closed off Crompton Way for 45 minutes while they removed the wrecked cars.
Mrs Keagan, of Green Way Close, Hall i'th Wood, was driving her N-reg Peugeot 106, when it struck a central island and was in collision with the other vehicles.
Melvyn Cross, aged 64, of New Heys Way, Bradshaw, was travelling in the opposite direction in his T-reg Mazda Demio, and had to be taken to hospital suffering minor injuries. Both cars were badly damaged.
Carl McKendry, aged 20, of Rusland Drive, Harwood, was driving in his K-reg Vauxhall Astra, which was slightly damaged.
Police diverted traffic away from the scene and began operating a contraflow system at around 10.45pm.
Mrs Keagan was today described as in a comfortable condition by hospital staff.
