FRIDAY'S KO saw Dave Higgin take £34 first place after seeing off some top opponents.
In the final he beat one of Bolton's most known darts player Paul Williams who took £17. Dave also beat Mick Eagan in a good semis, Mick took £8. In the second semis Paul just won over another well known darter Ian Roe who took £8, with both players hitting the high scores but Paul made sure of the doubles first time.
On Sunday Ian Roe took £33 first place after beating a slightly under par Pete Rawlinson, who didn't play as well as his earlier form showed.
Ian also beat Derek Ashton in the semis who through well but couldn't keep up with Ian's accuracy. Pete won the second semi against Ken Smith who made a welcome return to the KO. The best lady prize was shared between Bolton Mo Taylor who yet again threw some excellent darts and Jenny Nuttall.
Over £151 was paid out on the night including spot the ball, tote and beer draw. Names to be in by 9.05. Draw made at 9.10. Telephone 841697 ask for Wayne, Pete or Christine.
