MEMBERS of Farnworth Performing Arts Company intend to stage their first pantomime this winter season . . . oh, yes, they do!
The group will be presenting Sleeping Beauty from Wednesday to Saturday, January 23 to 26, at Astley Bridge Theatre Church, Seymour Road, Bolton.
Anyone interested in taking part in the new venture is invited to attend an introduction and read-through.
The event should be a huge team effort, involving lots of hard work, but also including a great deal of fun.
The cast will be made up of a children's chorus, from age four upwards, boys and girls, and adult principals.
FPAC is looking particularly for young people in their late teens or early twenties for the main boy and girl parts.
The pantomime introduction and read through takes place next Sunday, 2pm, at St John's Primary School, Church Road, Kearsley. Children's rehearsals begin on Friday, September 7 at Astley Bridge Theatre Church. Further details from Denise Neary on 01942 818616.
