"THEY are absolute angels" is the verdict of Mrs Edna Whitworth about the staff of the Minerva Day Hospital at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Mrs Whitworth is a regular attender of the special unit which aids people back to health after serious illness, and she is so grateful that she has nominated staff there for the BEN Bouquet of the Week.
"They are just marvellous," she states. "They look after everyone so carefully. People come in with all sort of problems, and they treat them all the same -- with wonderful care and attention.
"I cannot speak too highly of them and I just want them to know that we all appreciate it. Your bouquet will be a lovely surprise."
And it certainly was. Sister Elizabeth Carr, nurses Alison Campbell, Linda Hampson, Liza Hurst and Colette Monk and auxiliaries Pat Nicholson, Josh Patel and Tony Heyes all appreciated this lovely floral gesture.
If YOU know a special someone who deserves our weekly flowers, write and tell us about them (including their daytime telephone number) to: BOUQUET OF THE WEEK, Angela Kelly, Features Dept, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE or e-mail: akelly@lancashire.newsquest.co.uk
