MICHAEL Ricketts is lined up for a re-union with his old club, Walsall, after Wanderers landed a home draw with the Saddlers in the second round of the Worthington Cup.
The Reebok hit-man, who scored for the third Premiership game in a row against Liverpool, came through the ranks at the West Midlands club before joining Wanderers in a bargain £400,000 deal last summer.
Sam Allardyce is understood to be keen on Macedonian international Artim Sakiri, who impressed during a recent trial.
Sakiri, a 27-year-old midfielder, plays for the the Gorica club in Slovenia having started his career in Macedonia with Vardar Skopje and having spells in Sweden and Germany.
