REGARDING Grenville Moore's letter -- Human race is created by God -- BEN, August 20th.
Once again, we have a Christian fundamentalist quoting sections of the Bible he deems appropriate to counter the views of a church minister.
Mr Moore is typical of the kind of dyed in the wool Christian who can't or won't distinguish between the true historical Jesus and the spiritual Jesus.
The kind of person who takes every word written in the Bible literally.
Who does he believe actually wrote the Gospels? And when?
The Christian Church we know today didn't even come into existence in a recognisable form until the Seventh Century.
Even then, it did so by adopting elements of the Sol Invictus Cult of the emperor Constantine in order to be legitimised.
If Mr Moore and his type had his way, we'd still be living in the dark ages and torturing people for not sharing their beliefs.
Mr Moore ends his letter by referring to a quote from the Gospel of Matthew. Perhaps he could tell me and other puzzled BEN readers how this is a condemnation of cloning?
If Mr Moore is such a devout follower of things Biblical perhaps he could answer this simple question -- which town was Jesus from? Finally, I have always been led to believe that if one sets oneself up as judge then one should hear both sides of a story before passing judgement.
