SOUTHPORT plays host to the North West's leading aviation event on September 8 and 9.
The Southport Air Show is expected to attract more than 200,000 people.
It celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and among the highlights will be a mass jump by more than 50 soldiers of the Fourth Parachute Regiment.
Aircraft from the last 60 years will feature, as will the Red Arrows and their helicopter counterparts, the Blue Eagles.
Other attractions will be an RAF Nimrod anti-submarine aircraft and the RAF Falcons freefall parachute display team.
The show opens at 10am and air shows begin 1pm.
