WANDERERS will go to Leeds on Saturday week with their spirits sky high, knowing they have done considerably more than just hold their own in the Premiership.
And Sam Allardyce believes his players will benefit from having a weekend free from the pressures.
"It will be a well-earned break and we'll be glad of that," the manager said. "It will be good for the players.
"A lot of international players will be going away - many of them in the Leeds side - having to play in World Cup qualifying games.
"We've got Per (Frandsen) and Ricardo (Gardner) away but the rest of the side can get their feet back on the ground, enjoy the training and get themselves 100 per cent ready for Leeds United."
