BSF ROUNDERS LEAGUE DARCY Lever scooped the Section A title after they won their decisive game against Rupert Ladies.
The match was billed as a championship decider for Darcy and they made no mistake, chalking up a 122(D)-82 win.
Rupert scored 50 runs in their first innings and when Darcy batted they dismissed three batters who had played senior Inter-League matches without troubling the scorers.
Missed opportunities, however, cost Rupert dear and Sue Taylor 18 runs, Vicky Hill 14 and June Duckworth 11 runs gave Darcy a 28-run advantage at half time.
Soon afterwards Rupert were dismissed for 32 runs in the second innings leaving Darcy needing only five runs for victory and the game was over when Darcy Lever scored 44 runs with four batters remaining.
Little Lever XI are runners up in A section when they beat Darcy Lever CC B 154(1)-83.
Nationwide became section B champions when they beat Westside XI. Farnworth and Dist Vets had to settle for the runners up spot when they lost to Prices A 133-129.
Last game
Horwich RMI are champions of E section with Egerton Pipe & Tube A runners up. Egerton visited Widdows Mason XI and won 95(1)-69.
The Volunteer had previously become champions of G section and beat Assured Ladies when they played their last game. Heaton CC B became runners up when they beat Bradbury Ladies in their final game.
K2 Ladies have led the 'I' section from the start of the season but lost the last game of the season - and the championship - to Esporta Ladies A 211-153. That result was enough to see Esporta finish champions, with K2 runners up.
Dale XI in J section take the title honours with Westhoughton XI runners up.
Freedom Ladies lost the first game of the season in M section but have remained unbeaten since and became champions with 30 points. Farmers Arms Ladies finish second.
Starlight XI hold a 100 per cent record in N with one match remaining. Grey Man Vixens appear favourite for the runners up spot but Victory Hotel COR are still in with a chance.
Walkden CC A B are champions of O section but Bolton Castle and The Yorkettes will play off for the runners up spot.
Esporta Ladies B became champions of P section but Hulton Ladies and Royal Bolton Hospital could also be involved in a play off for runners up. Inter-district winners THE Inter District competition saw Deane and Bolton Central winners over Darcy and Little Lever.
This was a repeat of last year's final and the same result.
