AN inexperienced Bolton Association side never recovered from the loss of their both openers as they were beaten by the Manchester Association at Bury.
Captain Tony Kelly and Rob Faulkner managed to pull the innings round with a stand of 68 but once they had gone only Paul Walsh, with 22 from 36 balls, made any significant contribution.
That saw the Association dismissed for 135, wicketkeepr Ralph Taylor taking three catches and a stumping and although Brett Collins took an early wicket, a stand of 83 from Jim Wisniewski and John Maddock ensured an easy seven wicket victory for the Manchester side.
