Wanderers have slashed prices for their second round Worthington Cup clash with Walsall on Tuesday, September 11.

Tickets went on sale today with prices in the upper tiers of the stands, where the top matchday charge is £27, reduced to £12 for adults and £6 for concessions and in the lower tiers £10 and £5. The North Stand upper tier will not be open.

A club spokesman explained: "Following last year's successful price promotions we wanted to continue offering value for money to our loyal and committed fans."

Tickets for Wanderers' next Premiership home game against Southampton on Saturday, Sept 15, go on sale tomorrow to Lifeline holders who are also club members. Supporters with either Lifeline or club memberships can purchase tickets from Tuesday before they go on general sale on Wednesday.

Postal applications for the game at Blackburn on Sept 19, are now being accepted with season ticket holders receiving priority.

Applications must be addressed to the Ticket Office, marked "Blackburn Application" and include the correct remittance and a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Wanderers have been allocated 3,000 tickets priced at £20 for adults, £12 for pensioners and £8 for juveniles.

An allocation of 1,700 tickets has also been received for the game at Arsenal on Sept 22 and are being sold by postal application only with season ticket holders having priority. Prices are £24 for adults and £12 for pensioners and juniors. Applications, enclosing SAE, must be marked "Arsenal Application"
