I WAS amused by your correspondent Mr Morgan's letter.

Does he really think we would go back to the Dark Ages if we listen to Christians?

I know some of the early churches did not follow Jesus, but I cannot judge why, I did not live in those days.

What I do know is that most discoveries were made by Christians. These include Caxton, Newton, Watts, Stephenson, Compton, Hargreaves and Fleming to name a few.

I do not know any people who discovered anything that was beneficial for mankind, who did not believe in God. Perhaps we can hear his side of the story.

I know Jesus lives, and his spirit lives in me.
