I HAVE read over the past few weeks in Your Views about the missing cats.
Being a cat lover, have felt great sympathy for their owners and their anxiety as to their pets whereabouts or fate.
I myself had two ornamental cats, one made of buff coloured stone, which has resided on my front door step in the Bromley Cross area safely for the past few years. Being a trusting soul, or a fool, I never thought to fasten it down.
Anyway, last week someone decided to adopt it, and it now, I presume, has a new address. This particular ornament has great sentimental value as it belonged to a very dear relative of mine and when she died I inherited it.
I don't think it would be very expensive to replace, but buying another wouldn't be the same, for when I lost it the memories went with it.
I am therefore appealing to the person who adopted it to please return it and I will recompense them by buying them a brand new replacement. Thank you very much
