ISN'T it high time that the laws relating to what is and isn't acceptable by the Church on headstones were brought up to date, to take into account the wishes of the relatives involved?
Obviously there have to be certain boundaries as to what is allowed, but surely it is more important that the churchyards are well maintained as Christ's Church is.
Hayley's lovely memorial is in no way out of place, and I for one feel that Marilyn and Tony should be allowed to remember their cherished daughter as they wish.
