AS Britain descends into chaos, rioting in towns, battering or worse of elderly people, muggings, hit and runs, burglaries, smashed bus stops and telephone kiosks the norm, graffiti, mob rule and total lack of discipline in schools, gangs of youths paralytic or drugged up causing havoc, what else do I read in the Bolton Evening News...
In a quiet corner of a churchyard stand a mum and dad painfully and achingly looking at a gravestone which bears a beautiful etching of their 24-year-old daughter, who now, through tragic circumstances, lies beneath the stone
All I can say to these men of God, is, if your supreme ruler was standing beside you now he would have compassion absolute in this matter.
So do as he would do and leave this family to grieve in peace and leave the stone intact. To me it would be sacrilege to remove it. And remember these words: "There but for the grace of God go I."
