BOLTON Wanderers are still negotiating with Marseille in a bid to bring the highly-rated centre-back, Bruno Ngotty, to the Reebok.
Sam Allardyce is hoping to secure a loan deal for the 30-year-old former France international, who numbers Paris St Germain and AC Milan among his former clubs. Ngotty, who was in Bolton for talks and a medical at the weekend, has returned to France where he is being touted as a possible "makeweight" in a deal involving one-time Wanderers' trialist, Pascal Nouma, who has joined Marseille from Turkish club Besiktas.
Nouma, who played at the Reebok in the pre-season games against Athletic Bilbao and Alaves, completed his move on Friday to beat the French transfer deadline. The agreed free was around £2 million, although Besiktas are prepared to take a player in part-exchange, if Marseille prefer not to pay the full cash price.
