It's six of the best for Supermac Bolton Boys Fed
MARTINDALES' prolific goalscorer Michael McGinlay is proving to be on the right road as his legendary father John McGinlay having notched 10 goals in his side's first two games in the Boys Fed as they top the table in the Under 14 age group having beaten Oxford Grove and Turton respectfully.
The other games in this section saw good wins for Bolton County, Bromley Cross, Hindley Jnrs, and Lads Club who won by the odd goal in a seven-goal thriller.
In the Under 18s, there were good wins for Hindsford Lads Club and Monton, while, in the other two games, the points were shared in two-all draws.
There were high-scoring affairs in the Under 16 age group as Park Villa defeated Astley Bridge in a nine-goal close encounter and Bolton County notched a win in goal bonanza in another close game against Kearsley Boys.
In the Under 13 there were good wins for CMB, Wigan Jnr Latics, Deans Youth, Breightmet Utd and Farnworth Boys who overcame Bolton County in a complete second half turnaround and Radcliffe Boro and Bromley Cross sharing the spoils in a six-goal thriller.
In the Under 12, Lads Club stay on top of Section A after their recent win but hot on their heels are Horwich St Mary's who had a hat-trick hero in Sam Parkinson. In the B Section, Deans Youth still head the table after a good away win at Bromley Cross.
There were good wins for CMB, Aspull, Leigh RMI and Bromley Cross who won by the odd goal in seven in the Under 11 Section. Local soccer scene
