I JUST had to write and tell you about the refuse men, who empty our wheelie bins in Osbourne Close, Farnworth.

I read a letter saying that bin men never smile. That's certainly not true of ours, they take the trouble, no matter how busy they are, to have a word and a wave to our little grandson Rhys.

They can't be faulted in their work, no matter what the weather is like, so a big thank you to all the boys on the team for making a little boy's day.
