I AM just writing to inform you of a positive experience I have had with parking wardens of Bolton Council. I know they have a bad reputation and I would just like to share my good experience with your readers.
I had been visiting a friend in the town centre and I arrived back to my car two minutes after my parking ticket had run out, just in time to see a traffic warden walking up to my car!
The traffic warden did not put a ticket on my car, which in itself was not unusual (nice traffic warden do exist elsewhere I am sure).
But the helpfulness and friendly disposition displaced by this individual -- unfortunately I do not have his name -- was so nice and welcoming.
I am not from Bolton, but the customer service displayed by Bolton Metropolitan Council was second to none.
This just added to my perception of Bolton as a warm, welcoming wonderful place to visit, and one which I will surely be visiting again.
WELL DONE BOLTON!
