THE majority of UK office workers toil for long hours, take few breaks and rarely socialise with colleagues during the day, a new survey claims.
Hundreds of workers were questioned about working hours and breaks in a survey commissioned by Macmillan Cancer Relief for their World's Biggest Coffee Morning -- a major charity event sponsored by Nescafe and KitKat.
The survey found that in northern offices 40 per cent of workers fail to take a daily coffee break and 53 per cent fail to take their daily lunchbreak entitlement.
Coffee breaks in support of Macmillan Cancer Relief are being held throughout the country on Friday, September 28.
