ELECTRIC blankets cause about 20 deaths each year in Britain, so to combat this Bolton Trading Standards are holding free safety tests for anyone who takes their blankets in.
The free testing takes place at: Farnworth Town Hall on Monday, September 24 from 9am-4.30pm; Age Concern in Bolton town centre, Tuesday, September 25 from 9am-3.30pm; Horwich resource centre, Wednesday, September 26 from 9.30am-4pm.
