BOLTON'S biggest provider of post-16 education has put a call out for willing individuals to have a say in how it is run.
Bosses at Bolton Community College are urging people with an interest in education and training to consider taking on the role of a college governor.
The college - formed earlier this year through the merger of the old Bolton College and the council's Community Education Service has two vacancies for representatives on the governing body.
A spokesman said: "Potential members with experience and expertise in business or financial management or equal opportunity issues are particularly welcome, as are applications from members of the public."
Those interested should contact principal, Alison Bowes on 01204 453300 or clerk to the corporation, Gordon Campbell 01204 453512.
You can also apply in writing by sending a brief CV outlining relevant skills and experience to: The Clerk to the Corporation, Bolton Community College, Manchester Road, Bolton, BL2 1ER or alternatively you can e-mail gordon.campbell@bolton-community-college.ac.uk.
