No fears for Castleford return for BEN ALL week, people have been pulling me up, asking me am I looking forward to going back to my old club Castleford this weekend.
Some people at the club have been winding me up saying that I will arrive at the ground amidst a chorus of boos!
I cannot really see that happening as the Castleford fans are amongst the best in the sport. However, I don't expect my old players at to roll out the welcome mat for Wigan this weekend. Everyone at the club is expecting a tough match. I am more than aware after four years at the Jungle that the players there really rise to the big occasion and they will be keen to scupper any hopes that we have of finishing top of the table.
Our players have had a few days off this week to rest up and freshen up ahead of the play-offs. This is not a sign that we are taking Castleford lightly, it is just the first time in a while that we have had a nine-day turn-around period between matches and we thought this was the best time to capitalise.
I hope there are many of you out there who can come and support us in our final home game of the season against the Saints. So far, after three matches played, it has been one win to us, one to Saints and a draw, so in terms of matches played in the Super League, this is very much a decider.
There is also a good chance we could meet them in the play-offs but none-the-less, we will be all out to end our regular season on a high.
